Solubility – Sugar

This maths lesson we did science about solubility,Solubility technically means the maximum amount of a substance that can dissolve in the given amount of a solevent specified temperture.Solute being the substance being dissolved, in my case it is sugar being dissolved.There are 2 other key words the first one is solevent.The meaning of solevent is a substance that can dissolve another substance ours was water dissolving sugar and the solution is a mixture of 2 or more substances and its end results.Our end result is  100ml could dissolve 130 g of sugar so in conclusion 1L could hold 1300 grams of sugar.

Challenges For maths / treaty

This week for school we did 3 different challenges the first challenge we had to build a bridge out of paper and make a light squishy die stand on it. For the second challenge we were learning how to make a long tower out of straws and this task was for participation and teamwork it was fun but challenging we had fun and it was taller than us. We also were the first to finish. Our tower was 147 cm tall. The last challenge was we had to build the highest tower out of cups and ours was the tallest. After that we completed the task, we posted it on our blog.

Measurement Term 3

this week for maths we did a measurement task the first page was focusing on decimals and where they go on a ruler.The second page was about what tool measure certain thing.The third page was just questions that i flew through.The fourth page was measuring objects digitally and create task was me using a ruler to measure 3 objects videoing or photos.
